“Through his cunningHe shall cause deceit to prosper under his rule;And he shall exalt himself in his heart.He shall destroy many in their prosperity.He shall even rise against the Prince of princes;But he shall be broken without human means.

For God is the King of all the earth;Sing praises with understanding.

He shall cut off the spirit of princes;He is awesome to the kings of the earth.

to whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all, first being translated “king of righteousness,” and then also king of Salem, meaning “king of peace,”

And this One shall be peace.When the Assyrian comes into our land,And when he treads in our palaces,Then we will raise against himSeven shepherds and eight princely men.

For unto us a Child is born,Unto us a Son is given;And the government will be upon His shoulder.And His name will be calledWonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

He shall cut off the spirit of princes;He is awesome to the kings of the earth.

He brings the princes to nothing;He makes the judges of the earth useless.

The Lord is King forever and ever;The nations have perished out of His land.
