Tale Of The Bird With Two Heads

Once upon a time, there was a magical bird named Bharunda who had two heads and one body. The bird was a sight for sore eyes as bizarre as it might sound. The body of the bird was reminiscent of a pitch black night and the neck of the bird was an embodiment of a color palette. The head of the bird was adorned with bright golden feathers.

One day the bird was wandering along the river. The bird was very hungry and started searching for a fruit tree. Suddenly, one of the heads of the bird noticed a red golden fruit. Ecstatic and excited, it started eating the fruit. The head of the bird who found the fruit was very happy to see the fruit and was sure that the fruit had been sent from heaven. When the first head of the bird enjoyed the scrumptious meal, the other head also wanted to have a taste of the mouth-watering fruit.

When the second head asked for a bite, the first head declined to say that no matter which head ate the fruit, the fruit would fill the stomach of the bird. The second bird insisted on having the fruit. The first head refused his request that only the first head had the right to consume the fruit because it had spotted the tree first. The second head of the bird was hurt by the selfishness of the first head. He became silent with disappointment on hearing the reply of the first head. He started craving revenge from the first head. A few days later, the second head found some fruits while they were wandering. The first head warned the companion against eating the fruit because the fruits were from a poisonous tree. The second head was in no mood to pay heed to the words of the first head. The second head told the first head that as he had insulted him the other day by not sharing the fruit, the second head would take revenge on him and would not share the fruit with him. The first head pleaded with him to not eat the fruit. He requested him to not eat the fruit because they both will suffer as a consequence. The second head asked the first head to keep his mouth shut as the second head will eat the fruit because he had found the fruit first. The first head became silent, he had nothing to say. The poison soon took effect and reached their stomach. The birds were killed.
