The Two Seeds

One morning, Birbal approached Emperor Akbar in the palace garden, holding two identical seeds in his hand.
“Your Majesty,” Birbal said, “I have a simple challenge. Plant both of these seeds in separate pots. One is real, and the other is fake. Let’s see which one grows.”
Intrigued, Akbar accepted the challenge. He had the seeds planted in two well-tended pots and placed in a sunny spot where the royal gardeners could care for them.
Weeks passed. Then months.
Eventually, one pot showed signs of life a green sprout emerged and began to grow steadily. The other remained dry and lifeless.
Akbar summoned Birbal. “The answer is clear,” he said, pointing to the sprouting plant. “This one is real. The other is fake.”
Birbal nodded. “Yes, Jahanpanah. Though both seeds looked the same, only the real one had life within it. A lie can be dressed to look like the truth, but it will never grow. Only truth can take root, survive time, and bear fruit.”
Akbar smiled, appreciating the deeper meaning behind the test. “You’ve shown once again, Birbal, that reality always reveals itself no matter how well a lie is hidden.”
Moral: Lies may appear convincing, but only truth has the power to grow and endure.
