A Nurse' Prayer

28. A Nurse' Prayer Jesus, Divine Healer, your words and deeds brought healing to the sick in mind and body. So too, it is you who have called me to this noble profession. I therefore pray earnestly that, as I care for my patients today, you will be with me in every word I utter and in every action I perform. Make me conscious of the value of kind words and the significance of a gentle touch. Thus may your healing touch so pervade my whole being as to have your love shine through all that I do, so that those in need may see, hear and feel not me, but You! Amen.
