For Jesus' Help

6. For Jesus' Help Lord, in every need let me come to you with humble trust, pleading: Jesus help me! In all my doubts, perplexities and temptations, Jesus help me! In hours of loneliness, weariness and trial, Jesus help me! When my plans fail, hopes diminish, and disappointments and sorrow stare me in the face, Jesus help me! When others fail me, causing me to realize that your grace alone can assist me, Jesus help me! When I throw myself on your tende love as friend and Saviour, Jesus help me! When my heart is Weighed down by failure, with no good in sight resulting from my efforts, Jesus help me! When I get impatient and my cross irks me no end, Jesus help me! When I am ill and my head and hands don't seem to work and I am overcome with loneliness, Jesus help me! Always, always in times of weakness, when I am over-conscious of my faults and shortcomings of every kind, Jesus help me and never forsake me! Amen.
