Parents' Prayer

29. Parents' Prayer Lord, we strive to be worthy guardians of the child/ren you have blessed us with, we ask you to guide us every step of the way! Daily, grant us wisdom, strength and love as we guide our precious child/ren. Give us patience and forbearance whereby we neither hurt nor neglect our child/ren but instil in them with loving firmness the behaviour we expect of them. Help us to teach by example the goodness of your laws that we must obey, conscious that children learn from what they observe firsthand. Oh Lord, we need your guidance for we cannot do this alone. Lord, may we have the joy and satisfaction of having raised a Christian when at last our child is grown! Amen.
