8. The 3 O'clock Prayer Great and merciful God, whose goodness is beyond human understanding, I adore and glorify your merciful heart. By the love that burns in your heart for souls and whose salvation you so deeply desire, I plead with you to have mercy on the whole world, but especially on poor sinners, whom you have redeemed by the power of the most holy and precious blood of your only begotten Son. O Merciful Jesus, extended on the cross, through your cry of anguish and grief, “My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?” do not abandon me but have mercy on me. I know you will not reject me when I approach your merciful heart and by the merits of your most sacred passion, I beg of you! (Intentions) O blood and water, which gushed forth from the heart of Jesus, as a fountain of mercy for us, I trust in thee! (3 times)
