Thus says God the Lord,Who created the heavens and stretched them out,Who spread forth the earth and that which comes from it,Who gives breath to the people on it,And spirit to those who walk on it:

He shall see the labor of His soul, and be satisfied.By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall justify many,For He shall bear their iniquities.

And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake,Some to everlasting life,Some to shame and everlasting contempt.

Blessed are the merciful,For they shall obtain mercy.

“Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?

And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.”

“Blessed are the poor in spirit,For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are the peacemakers,For they shall be called sons of God.

Now behold, one came and said to Him, “Good Teacher, what good thing shall I do that I may have eternal life?”

And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”
