The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.”

For our God is a consuming fire.

“But who can endure the day of His coming?And who can stand when He appears?For He is like a refiner’s fireAnd like launderers’ soap.

You shall not be terrified of them; for the Lord your God, the great and awesome God, is among you.

Come and see the works of God;He is awesome in His doing toward the sons of men.

Happy are you, O Israel!Who is like you, a people saved by the Lord,The shield of your helpAnd the sword of your majesty!Your enemies shall submit to you,And you shall tread down their high places.”
