My son, pay attention to my wisdom;Lend your ear to my understanding,
The crown of the wise is their riches,But the foolishness of fools is folly.
When He prepared the heavens, I was there,When He drew a circle on the face of the deep,
Wisdom rests in the heart of him who has understanding,But what is in the heart of fools is made known.
So that you incline your ear to wisdom,And apply your heart to understanding;
O you simple ones, understand prudence,And you fools, be of an understanding heart.
A man will be commended according to his wisdom,But he who is of a perverse heart will be despised.
